What is JoSAA?

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is an agency set up by the Ministry of Education to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to over 110 institutes, including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes is made through a single platform.

How Our Prediction Works

Our JoSAA Rank Predictor uses historical cutoff data from previous counselling years. By mapping your current JEE Main rank against the exact closing ranks of various colleges and branches, we calculate a statistical probability of your admission. We take into account your specific category (General, OBC, SC, ST) and state quota (Home State vs. Other State) to provide hyper-accurate results.

Dream vs. Moderate vs. Safe Choices

• Dream Colleges (Risky): These are colleges where the previous year's closing rank was slightly better than your current rank. While admission is difficult in regular rounds, these are excellent choices to keep at the top of your preference list for spot rounds like CSAB.
• Moderate Chances (50-50): Your rank is very close to the historical cutoffs. Admission here is highly dependent on yearly variations in paper difficulty, seat matrix changes, and your choice-filling strategy.
• Safe Choices (High Probability): Your rank comfortably clears the historical cutoffs for these branches. These should serve as your reliable backup options to ensure you secure a seat.
